Relative humidity will be high at 90 per cent in the coastal areas of the UAE
Dubai: Today was a hot and sunny day across the UAE, with temperatures soaring higher than typical readings due to high humidity levels. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported that conditions were mainly sunny to partly cloudy, with some clouds developing in the eastern regions by the afternoon.
This afternoon, we saw the highest temperature recorded at 48°C in Raknah (Al Ain) at 2pm, while internal regions experienced highs in the upper 40s. Coastal areas reached about 43°C, and temperatures over the mountains were around 35°C.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, Wednesday, 21 May 2025, we can expect fair to partly cloudy conditions, with some clouds likely to appear in the eastern region by the afternoon. Humidity will increase overnight into Wednesday morning, creating a chance for fog or mist in some coastal and internal areas.
Winds will be light to moderate, initially southeasterly, shifting to northwesterly, with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, and could reach up to 35 km/h at times during the day. The sea will remain calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
