Dubai: A Jordanian expat based in Doha, Qatar, has won $1 million in the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion.

Mohammad Zaid Al Kilani was announced as the lucky winner during a draw held at Concourse A of Dubai International Airport. He won with ticket number 1815, which he had purchased online on June 28.

Al Kilani becomes the 15th Jordanian national to win the $1 million prize since the promotion began in 1999.

However, organisers said they have not yet been able to contact him.

“He is currently uncontactable, but will no doubt be delighted to learn of his newfound fortune,” Dubai Duty Free said in a statement.
