Dubai: The Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai successfully concluded the first phase of Career Fair 2025, an employment initiative launched in collaboration with Transguard Group.
Held on June 3 and 4 at the Consulate premises, the two-day event attracted hundreds of Pakistani job seekers from across the UAE.

Walk-in interviews across over 20 job categories

From 8 am to 1 pm, walk-in interviews were conducted for more than 20 job categories, including drivers, delivery riders, electricians, technicians, plumbers, forklift operators, housekeeping staff, warehouse workers, helpers, cleaners, and gardeners. Transguard Group ensured a wide range of employment opportunities for participants.

400 candidates participate in initial recruitment round

About 400 candidates took part in the initial round of the recruitment drive. The final selection will be announced after thorough assessment and verification processes, aligned with the specific requirements of each role.

Consul General Muhammad observes hiring process

Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, visited the venue to personally observe the hiring process. He highlighted the significance of such initiatives in empowering the Pakistani diaspora through employment and praised the collaboration with Transguard Group.

“The Consulate remains committed to supporting and facilitating such partnerships to further broaden the scope of employment opportunities for our community,” said the Consul General.

Strong response from Pakistani job seekers

Community Welfare Attachés Imran Shahid and Junaid Murtaza also commended the strong response from job seekers and confirmed that similar recruitment drives are in the pipeline in partnership with top UAE-based employment agencies.

Phase 2 of Career Fair scheduled this month

The second phase of Career Fair 2025 is scheduled for June 18 and 19 at the Consulate General of Pakistan. Interested candidates are advised to bring their CV, passport, and valid identification documents to participate.
