Abu Dhabi authorities have ordered the administrative closure of Zaiqa Grill N Restaurant L.L.C. in Al Dana for violating food safety laws. The move follows repeated breaches of Law No. (2) of 2008 and its related regulations.

In an official statement, ADAFSA said the closure was prompted by repeated food safety violations and the restaurant’s failure to implement effective corrective measures, which posed a clear threat to public health.

The authority emphasised that immediate action was necessary to protect consumers and uphold hygiene standards.

The administrative closure will remain in effect until the violations are fully addressed and the establishment demonstrates full compliance with all food safety requirements.

ADAFSA added that operations may resume once the necessary corrections are made and the restaurant meets all regulatory standards.

The authority reiterated that the closure is part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s food safety system. All food establishments in the emirate are subject to regular inspections to verify compliance, proactively protect public health, and ensure strict enforcement of food safety protocols.

The public is also urged to report any food safety violations or concerns through the Abu Dhabi Government’s toll-free number, 800555, to ensure prompt action by inspectors and safeguard food safety across the emirate.
