The restaurant failed to implement effective corrective measures
Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has ordered the administrative closure of Rupashi Bangla Restaurant L.L.C., located on Hamdan bin Mohammed Street in Abu Dhabi City.
The restaurant was found to be in serious violation of Law No. (2) of 2008 concerning food safety in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and related regulations.
According to ADAFSA, the decision to shut down the establishment stems from repeated high-risk food safety violations. Despite previous warnings, the restaurant failed to implement effective corrective measures, posing a direct threat to public health.
The closure will remain in effect until all violations are addressed and the restaurant meets the necessary requirements to resume operations. ADAFSA emphasised that public health and consumer safety remain top priorities, and any entity failing to comply with food safety standards will face strict enforcement actions.
This closure is part of ADAFSA’s broader effort to uphold food safety across the emirate. Routine inspections are conducted to ensure all food establishments adhere to the highest hygiene and safety standards.
ADAFSA encourages the public to report any food safety concerns or violations by contacting the Abu Dhabi Government toll-free number at 800555. The authority assures swift action to maintain the integrity and safety of the food supply for all residents.
