Sharjah: A Nigerian taxi driver was stabbed in broad daylight in Sharjah on Tuesday after fighting with his passenger, police in the emirate have confirmed.

The 28-year-old driver was stabbed with a sharp instrument and sustained moderate injuries after the fight.

The driver was taken to hospital at 11am with non life threatening injuries.

Al Buhairah Police have launched an investigation into the incident
