Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday announced the launch of the second phase of the ‘Zero Government Bureaucracy’ programme, with a particular focus on eliminating digital bureaucracy.
Taking to his X account, Sheikh Mohammed said: “Today, we launched the second phase of the ‘Zero Government Bureaucracy’ programme, a national project aimed at creating simpler, faster and more impactful government services.”
Highlighting the achievements of the first phase, the Vice-President said: “We reduced more than 70 percent of the time required for service delivery, eliminated more than 4,000 unnecessary procedures, and saved customers over 12 million hours in transportation and waiting time.”
Sheikh Mohammed added: “We thank more than 30 government entities and 690 teams which contributed to simplifying and reducing government procedures. Today, we are expanding our achievements and intensifying efforts, especially in the area of digital bureaucracy elimination. Our goal: a government without complexity, services without waiting, and results that make a real difference in people's lives.”
