Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has announced a temporary road closure on Thursday , November 20, to facilitate rehearsals for the 54th National Day Parade (Eid Al Etihad).

The closure will affect the main road leading to the Qawasim Corniche from 8.30 am to 10 am, as military units and parade participants take part in full-dress preparations ahead of the national celebration.

Authorities have urged motorists to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

“The rehearsal will witness the movement of military units and the closure of the main road leading to the Qawasim Corniche. Ras Al Khaimah Police call on the public to take alternative routes,” the police command said in a statement

The rehearsal is part of the logistical preparations to ensure the smooth flow and safety of participants and spectators during the Union Day celebrations on December 2.
