Sharjah: The activities and events of the ‘Ramadan Nights 2022’ exhibition will operate till April 26 during Ramadan. The venue has attracted thousands of visitors for its shopping, entertainment, culinary offers.

Ramadan Nights is a venue for visitors to enjoy their Ramadan evenings and take advantage of the huge discounts offered by brands. The exhibition also hosts a variety of activities including cultural, heritage, religious and health awareness programmes. Cuisines are also in offer from authentic Arab to international cuisines. Besides the exhibition, there are charitable and donation initiatives and a gaming arena.

The Heritage Village’s activities continue with a diverse range of programmes such as folk art shows and cultural competitions. The village also offer Ramadan dishes and drinks, as well as a display of traditional clothing, incense, and handicrafts. The mobile museum allows visitors to learn about folk medicine, ancient coins, and fishing tools.

Prizes

Shoppers and visitors to Ramadan Nights 2022 have an opportunity to win a Suzuki Jimny vehicle, as well as other valuable prizes in various raffle draws. To be eligible for the raffles, they must spend a minimum of Dh200, which also includes the chance to win purchase vouchers and gifts through numerous different contests at the Heritage Village.

The exhibition, organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), opens its doors to visitors from 5pm until 1am throughout Ramadan.

Sharjah Ramadan Festival

Ramadan Nights is part of the larger Sharjah Ramadan Festival, showcasing over 200 retailers and 25 international brands offering discounts of up to 75 per cent.

The 32nd edition is currently underway, with preliminary indications from the event’s organiser, SCCI, showing “significant” growth in sales and a rebound in the markets since the festival’s launch two weeks ago.

“Sharjah Ramadan Festival is the country’s most prominent shopping event during the holy month of Ramadan. We are pleased with the event’s success and the positive impact it has had on the emirate’s economic sectors, which is in line with the vision of the wise leadership, which aims to make Sharjah a preferred destination for tourism, living, and working,” said Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, general coordinator of the festival.

Jamal Saeed Buzanjal, assistant general coordinator of the festival, also said that the recreational activities organised by shopping centers in various regions of Sharjah drew a large number of visitors.

Cars and vouchers

Visitors and shoppers can take advantage of various marketing campaigns and promotional offers. For instance, at Sahara Centre, two luxury Toyota Land Cruiser cars and Dh100,000 in shopping vouchers will be raffled off to 10 winners.

Furthermore, in collaboration with Al Rabia FM, gifts will be distributed to shoppers on specific days. Oasis Mall announced that shoppers will receive double points when they spend a certain amount of money, while City Center Sharjah announced raffle draws for a Suzuki Jimny, in addition to many prizes and offers in the markets throughout the holy month.
