UAE: Off-duty doctor saves traffic accident victims, honoured by Ajman Police

Ajman: An off-duty doctor who helped saved the lives of victims of a serious traffic accident has been honoured by Ajman Police.

Dr Noor Sabah Nazir was driving her vehicle when an accident occurred in front of her in the Masfoot area of Ajman emirate recently. She immediately parked her vehicle and rushed to the accident site, checked on the injured and provided them with first aid until the National Ambulance arrived. Her quick action played an important role in saving the lives of the injured. She also assisted in the evacuation of those trapped in the vehicle.

Lieutenant Rashid Hameed bin Hindi, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols Department of Ajman Police presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr Noor, praising her sense of duty and service to the community.

Dr Noor Nazeer expressed her gratitude to Ajman Police for their gesture, saying what she did was a national and moral duty towards the country and its people.
