Dubai: The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) has launched the second edition of its “Love Emirates” initiative, building on the strong public response and wide participation witnessed during its inaugural edition.

The initiative, introduced as part of the UAE’s Year of Community, aims to reinforce values of national unity, belonging and shared identity among citizens, residents and visitors.

This year’s activities are taking place at Global Village, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary as one of the UAE’s most diverse cultural and tourism destinations. The venue, known for bringing together cultures from around the world, reflects the UAE’s identity as a model of coexistence and harmony, where people of all backgrounds live and thrive together.

Running from November 20 to 30, the second edition features a new digital and interactive platform that allows the public to express their love for the UAE through on-ground activations, visual displays, video content and social media participation under the “Love Emirates” umbrella.

GDRFA Dubai said the initiative is designed to deepen engagement between government institutions and the community while showcasing creative ways to strengthen national identity and foster a sense of belonging.

The campaign reinforces social cohesion, highlights the UAE as a global destination for cultural diversity and human coexistence, and further cements GDRFA Dubai’s role as a leading government entity in community-focused initiatives that enhance quality of life and proudly share the UAE’s message with the world.
