Flight operations at Zayed International Airport continue to be affected on Tuesday, the airport said.
“Flight operations…continue to face disruptions, including delays and cancellations. We are working closely with our airline and government partners,” the airport said.

Major UAE carriers including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Air Arabia have announced widespread flight suspensions and route changes as airspace closures across Iran, Iraq, Israel, and parts of the region disrupt air travel.
Passengers traveling through Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah to destinations in the Middle East have been urged to check their flight status and consider rebooking options as delays and cancellations continue.
Dubai-based Emirates has suspended flights to Jordan (Amman), Lebanon (Beirut), Iran (Tehran), and Iraq (Baghdad and Basra) until June 30, with flights to Jordan and Lebanon halted until June 22.
All flights to and from Tel Aviv remain suspended as well.
Etihad Airways announced the cancellation of all flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) until June 22, citing ongoing regional tensions and airspace restrictions.
The airline stated, “Etihad continues to experience disruption to several services due to airspace closures and the ongoing regional situation.”
Guests transiting through Abu Dhabi to connect to cancelled flights will not be accepted for travel from their point of origin. Impacted travellers are being assisted with alternative travel arrangements.
Moscow delays:
Flight EY843 from Abu Dhabi to Moscow Sheremetyevo on June 16 was delayed due to extra maintenance checks.
Passengers will now continue on an alternative aircraft. The return flight EY844 on June 17 will also face delays.
Revised schedules for Amman and Beirut:
Flights EY589/590 and EY591/592 between Abu Dhabi and Amman, Jordan
Flights EY583/584 between Abu Dhabi and Beirut, Lebanon
will operate with revised schedules on June 17.
Flight rerouting and ongoing disruptions
Etihad is rerouting multiple flights across the Middle East while closely coordinating with authorities to manage airspace restrictions. The airline warns that further delays and disruptions may occur in the coming days. Passengers are advised to check flight status via etihad.com, the mobile app, or by calling +971 600 555 666.
The airline has suspended flights to Iran, Iraq, Israel, Syria until June 30, the carrier said.
"Passengers connecting through Dubai with final destinations in any of the above countries or airports will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice," the airline said.
Meanwhile, Wizz Air has suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv, and its European flights to Amman, until September 15, 2025. The airline will also avoid flying over Israeli, Iraqi, Iranian, and Syrian airspace until further notice. Read more here
