Passengers can drop off their bags between 24 and 4 hours prior to flight
Abu Dhabi: Passengers flying on IndiGo through Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi can avail themselves of the City Check-in service from Monday, August 11, Morafiq Aviation Services announced on Saturday.
IndiGo is India’s largest airline by market share. To mark the occasion, IndiGo flyers will be offered complimentary check-in services on the inaugural day, i.e., August 11.
Morafiq, a wholly owned subsidiary of Off Airport Check In Solutions (OACIS), will enable IndiGo passengers to drop off their bags between 24 and 4 hours prior to flight departure and obtain their boarding passes at their convenience. This added flexibility aims to reduce congestion at the airport and provide travellers with a more relaxed pre-flight experience. Other airlines already served at the facilities include Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, EgyptAir and Wizz Air.
“We are delighted to welcome IndiGo to our growing portfolio of partner carriers,” said Titten Yohannan, Chairman of Morafiq Aviation Services LLC and OACIS Middle East.
“In our continuous endeavour to make air travel more seamless and convenient, this partnership reflects our shared commitment to innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.”
While IndiGo passengers can avail themselves of the service at three City Check-in facilities in the city starting Monday, they will be able to use the service in Al Ain from September 1. All four City Check-in locations have ample parking facilities to ensure stress-free travel. For more details call: 800 667 2347 (toll-free).
