Dubai: An Indian national has taken home the Dh20 million grand prize in Big Ticket’s live draw series 285, held in Abu Dhabi.

Shamon Shaji was holding ticket number 229425 which she purchased on March 22. 

"I am watching live. Thank you so much. It’s very exciting," said Shaji during the phone call.

Hailing from Kerala, she has been participating in Big Ticket for three months.

“We are doing business in Kerala and our parents live here so we came for a visit,” shared Shaji.

When asked about what she will do with the prize, Shaji has revealed that she has no plans yet.

Sharjah-based expat wins dream car

In addition, Ahmed Mohamed has won a brand-new Maserati Grecale in dream car series 16.

Mohamad is from Somalia who is presently working in Sharjah.

More winners announced

Moreover, five lucky participants have bagged the consolation prize of 200-gram, 24-karat gold bar.

These include Mohammad Shakil Ahmad Ali and Karthikkumar Kaliyaperumai in Abu Dhabi, Rajgopal Chandran in Sharjah, Mohammed Maqdoom in Saudi Arabia, and Solomon Raja in India.

For the Big Win segment, two contestants have won Dh150,000 each namely Mahmoud Zourob from Palestine and Ganesh Venkatasubramaniam from India.

Additionally, Suhel Miah Oli Miah from Bangladesh has been rewarded Dh140,000 while Mohamed Almoustaf from Syria has been grabbed Dh120,000.

Meanwhile, show hosts Richard and Bouchra has announced Big Ticket's latest promotion, with a grand prize of Dh25 million set to be awarded during the live draw on May 3.
