A Week Without Service Centres, which took place from October 21-25, was launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to boost the use of government apps and e-services.

Amani Al Jasmi, Director of the IT Department at DHA, stressed the importance of the initiative, which is in line with the Dubai Government’s strategy to transform the city into a smart one: “This initiative promotes the culture of smart transformation as it encourages facilities to deliver government services online and helps customers get used to completing transactions, which will help meet the smart transformation goals by 2021.”

She added that the benefits of the initiative include savings, time, money and energy.

In line with this initiative, the DHA would like to encourage customers to switch to online and smart channels to complete procedures related to licensing health facilities and professional through the Sheryan Medical Licensing System.

This system will allow customers to register for a new license or renew their license online anytime and anywhere around the world.

Meanwhile, medical facility representatives wishing to submit a request to hold an event at the DHA can do so online through the Medical Education Services platform.
