Dubai: UAE has approved Sotrovimab-vir treatment for emergency use, it was announced on Tuesday.

The new treatment relies on "monoclonal antibodies" to treat patients aged 12 years and above, said Dr Farida Al Hosani, the spokesperson for health care sector in the UAE .
