Behind-the-scenes film sparks excitement for Eid Al Etihad
Abu Dhabi: Preparations are officially underway for the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad, set for 2 December 2025. In line with Union Pledge Day, all residents across the Emirates are invited to join this year’s national festivities.
Union Pledge Day commemorates the historic moment when the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and fellow rulers signed the declaration of the Union and Constitution on 2 December 1971. This laid the foundation for the nation now celebrated as Eid Al Etihad.
This year’s festivities aim to embody a shared spirit of national pride and belonging. Organisers are encouraging community-wide participation to highlight the UAE’s heritage, values, and future ambitions.
Eisa Alsubousi, Director of Strategic and Creative Affairs, said:
“Union Pledge Day is more than a symbolic date. It signals a collective beginning of celebration and collaboration. This year, we reaffirm our commitment to partnership and inclusion, co-creating a memorable experience for all.”
To build excitement, a new behind-the-scenes film has been released, showcasing the 53rd Eid Al Etihad Official Ceremony held in Al Ain.
Set against the striking backdrop of Jebel Hafeet, the film highlights the creativity, scale, and collaborative spirit of the event, featuring insights from the diverse teams who brought the story of the Union to life.
