AI-powered Emirati Family launched to deliver public messages in a friendly, human way
Dubai: In a move to enhance the digital quality of life and cement its role as a global leader in digital transformation, Digital Dubai has launched the first-ever AI-powered ‘Emirati Family’.
The initiative introduces a new way for the government to deliver messages in a relatable, engaging, and accessible format to all segments of society.
The interactive virtual family represents the diversity, values, and aspirations of Emirati society. It also aligns with Dubai’s vision of building a smart, sustainable future through technology-driven community engagement.
The project was unveiled with the introduction of the first virtual character, a young girl known simply as ‘The Girl’. Featured in a short video on social media, she appears in traditional Emirati attire with a modern twist, designed to be warm and relatable—particularly for children and families.
To encourage community participation, the character invites the public to choose her name from three shortlisted options: Dubai, Mira, or Latifa. More characters—including a father, mother, and brother—will soon join her, completing the digital Emirati household.
Powered by AI and advanced data tools, the virtual family will share key messages on Dubai’s digital services in a simple, human-centred format. The aim is to engage audiences of all ages, nationalities, and cultures with messages that feel personal, inclusive, and easy to understand.
This initiative is part of Digital Dubai’s strategy to promote the concept of digital life using AI-led communication tools. These characters act as a bridge between the government and the public—especially younger generations—communicating in a tone and format that resonates with the digital native audience.
By making government messages more accessible and engaging, Digital Dubai aims to shape a resilient, people-centric digital future. The AI family embodies Dubai’s commitment to innovation, well-being, and inclusive communication—strengthening its leadership in the global digital space.
