The excitement continued last Friday which was the closing date for two more competitions. Local cooks were asked "What's cooking?" and invited to demonstrate their culinary skill by preparing a dish, while the more literary minded were invited to show their creativity by supplying the punch line to a cartoon. Winners will be announced soon, so look out for your name on your next visit to the store.
Next month Spinneys continues to make summer Fridays pleasurable with some exciting free offers. For instance, the coming Friday families are invited to come along and have a group photograph taken for the family album. The offer only applies to families.
On August 10, all kids can try their hand at kite-making. Enthusiasts are urged to go along to Spinneys and have a go at it. The best will get a prize.
On August 17, Nail Art comes to the store and ladies can choose a design, such as a small flower or a heart and have it applied by an experienced artist. Once again this is free.
