M S Food Trading LLC closed after failing to address ongoing food safety breaches
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has issued an administrative closure order against M S Food Trading LLC (Trade License No. CN-3775923) for violating Law No. (2) of 2008 concerning food safety in the emirate, citing repeated offences and posing a risk to public health.
According to ADAFSA, the closure follows an inspection report that revealed ongoing violations and the company’s failure to implement effective corrective measures. The authority said immediate action was necessary to protect food safety and public wellbeing.
The closure order will remain in effect until the facility rectifies all issues and meets full compliance with food safety standards. Operations may resume only after the company satisfies all regulatory requirements. ADAFSA underscored that this closure is part of its broader strategy to enhance the food safety system in Abu Dhabi. The authority conducts regular inspections of food establishments to ensure compliance and prioritise consumer protection.
Residents are urged to report any violations or concerns regarding food safety by calling the Abu Dhabi Government’s toll-free hotline at 800555. ADAFSA said it remains committed to ensuring the availability of safe and wholesome food for all members of the community.
