Closure resulted from shop’s failure to implement measures after repeated violations
Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi authorities have ordered the administrative closure of Chittagong Restaurant located in Madinat Zayed Sanaiya, Madinat Zayed, in Al Dhafra Region for violating food safety laws.
The move was taken due to the restaurant’s violation of Law No. (2) of 2008 and its associated regulations.
In an official statement, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) said the closure was prompted by repeated food safety violations and the restaurant’s failure to implement effective corrective measures, which pose a serious risk to public health.
The authority emphasised that immediate action was necessary to protect consumers and uphold hygiene standards.
