Ajman Police launches Smart Bail Service, cutting process time from 71 to 16 minutes

Dubai: Ajman Police has introduced a major digital transformation in its services with the launch of the Smart Bail Service, a proactive, fully online system designed to simplify procedures and enhance customer satisfaction.

The initiative, part of Ajman Police’s drive to adopt next-generation service concepts, replaces the traditional lengthy bail process with a faster, more efficient digital alternative. The number of steps has been reduced from eight to four, cutting the average completion time from 71 minutes to just 16.

Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Head of the Comprehensive City Police Centre at Ajman Police, said the service was developed based on public feedback to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience.

“The Smart Bail Service embodies our commitment to innovation and service excellence. It saves time and effort for customers while supporting the Ajman Government’s vision for smart transformation,” Colonel Al Kaabi said.

The revamped process has already benefited 4,659 users, saving more than 3,250 working hours since its implementation. Customer satisfaction has also soared, rising from 85 per cent before the upgrade to 97 per cent in 2025.

Colonel Al Kaabi stressed that Ajman Police remain dedicated to sustaining and expanding smart services to enhance quality of life, meet community needs, and align with the UAE’s broader digital government strategy.

“Ensuring the sustainability of our services and setting new benchmarks in innovation are top priorities for Ajman Police,” he added.

The Smart Bail Service forms part of Ajman Police’s wider efforts to transform traditional policing into a proactive, customer-centric model that reflects the UAE’s vision for efficient, technology-driven public services.
