American rock group The Calling is coming to Abu Dhabi next year

So lately, we’ve been thinking… wouldn’t it be nice if The Calling – American rock group, with singles such as Wherever you will go – would come to the UAE?

Well, nostalgia lovers, here’s some great news – the group is coming to Abu Dhabi on February 14, 2026. This will be their first-ever concert in the Middle East.

The Calling will perform hits from their Before The World Turns To Dust tour at the first AccessPass Music & Sports Festival.

They will be belting out their singles at 321 Sports, Hudayriat Island. Join them and sing along – pre-register for your tickets at https://festival.accesspass.ae.

The Calling was formed in 1996 by lead singer and guitarist Alex Band and guitarist Aaron Kamin.

Five years after they managed to snag a record deal, they released Wherever You Will Go on May 22, 2021, which would catapult them to fame. The song rose to number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Adult Top 40 for 23 weeks.

The band has a sort of on-again-off-again relationship since 2005, and Alex has continued to perform with a new line-up since 2016.

Now, it’s the time to capitalise on your love of all things nostalgia with a Calling gig.
