DUBAI After Dubai Mall and Ibn Batuta Mall, Mediclinic Middle East will now be present in two more malls in Dubai - City Centre Deira and City Centre Me’aisem.

The expansion follows Mediclinic’s acquisition of the City Centre Clinics Deira and Me’aisem from Majid Al Futtaim.

City Centre Clinic Deira currently houses a large outpatient facility with two day-care surgery theatres and 18 medical disciplines while City Centre Clinic Me’aisem is a smaller community clinic.

The acquisition takes the total number of Mediclinics in the UAE to 23 from 21. The healthcare group also runs six hospitals across the emirates.

David Hadley, chief executive officer of Mediclinic Middle East, said, “The new clinics will be ideally situated to refer, where necessary, patients to our existing Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Al Garhoud and our upcoming Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Al Barsha South.”
