New Delhi: Former India captain Anil Kumble, who recently visited the Tadoba Andhari National Park in Chandrapur in Maharashtra, has shared a sequence of some mesmerising pictures showing the rare sight of tigress Maya ferociously chasing another tigress.

He recently took to Twitter and shared a few pictures from his lens, where tigress Maya is seen chasing another tigress in order to protect her territory.

Sharing the pictures, Kumble wrote, "I had a once in a lifetime sighting of Maya the tigress in #Tadoba, who was protecting her territory from another tigress. The sequence of pictures shared depicts the ferocious chase that culminated in a fight and a civilised way of asking the intruder to leave her territory."

The pictures have garnered more than 10k likes and over 700 retweets so far.

One user wrote, "How do you manage your time and also you do not seem to age!!! Pride of Karnataka..."
