A young Jordanian man was found alive on Thursday after spending three days inside a deep well in the Al Muqabalain area of the capital, Amman, local media reported.

Ivan Al Qaisi is believed to have fallen into the 8-metre well, where he remained trapped before being located following intensive search efforts by his family.

Relatives said they were able to determine his location after days of searching, eventually finding him conscious and in generally stable condition despite the ordeal.

They added that Al Qaisi suffered bruising to his legs after remaining in water inside the well for an extended period, along with other minor injuries caused by the fall.

He was later rescued and is expected to receive medical care, with authorities yet to provide further details on the incident.
