Iran asks Europe to coordinate US return to nuclear deal

Washington: Iran’s foreign minister on Monday asked the European Union to coordinate a return of both Washington and Tehran to a nuclear deal, after a standoff on who will act first.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell should lay out “the actions that are needed to be taken by the United States and the actions that are needed to be taken by Iran,” Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour.
