Yemen: Woman killed, 11 wounded as Al Houthi shelling targets civilians in Taiz

Abu Dhabi: A woman was killed and 11 civilians were wounded, including children and women, in the bombing of the Al Houthi militia targeting residential neighbourhoods east of the Yemeni city of Taiz.

A local source said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “The Houthi militia targeted residential neighbourhoods with 15 tank shells from their locations in Tabba Sofitel.”

The source added: “The bombing resulted in the killing of a woman and wounding 11 civilians, including four children who were admitted to the hospital.”
