Dubai: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) is preparing to distribute more aid to the people in the liberated areas of Yemen in celebration of Eid Al Adha and as part of the “Zayed’s Legacy to Support Yemeni People” campaign.

The ERC distributed food and relief aid on Saturday to beneficiaries in Al Wadi district of Ma’reb Governorate.

In Al Mukalla, the ERC team is also getting ready to open the renovated Sahel Shuhair coastal park for public in Ghail Bawazir district during Eid Al Adha.

In Aden, the ERC team distributed aid vouchers, clothing and food baskets to the families of the martyrs and wounded as part of the “Zayed’s Legacy to Support Yemeni People” campaign.

On Friday, the ERC launched several humanitarian programmes in Al Juba district in Marib Governorate, Yemen, as part of a campaign to support the families of people who lost their lives and the wounded.

The aid supplies, which include food baskets and Eid clothing, will be distributed to the families of martyrs, the wounded and the underprivileged.

The beneficiaries of the campaign expressed their appreciation for the UAE’s aid programmes, which they said were providing relief to them and their children.
