Oman
The Ministry of Health today registered 1,300 new coronavirus cases and a record of 38 deaths in the Sultanate in the past 24 hours. The total cases in the country have now touched 115,734, including 105,700 recoveries and 1,246 deaths. With the spike in COVID-19 cases and related deaths, the ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the ministry.
Kuwait
A further 608 people have tested positive in Kuwait today, taking its tally of infections to 126,534.
The virus claimed three more lives, bringing total fatalities to 782, the ministry of Health announced on Sunday. The ministry also revealed the recovery of 696 patients, pushing total recovered people to 117,558. The active cases have now reached 8,149, including 109 that are critical and receiving treatment at ICUs.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia reported 374 new coronavirus cases and 18 more fatalities over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said.
The Kingdom’s total cases of infections have climbed to 347,656, including 5,420 deaths and 334,236 recoveries after 394 people have made full recovery.
There are currently 8,000 active cases, out of which 771 are critical cases receiving intensive care.
Bahrain
Bahrain’s Ministry of Health confirmed the detection of 179 cases of COVID-19 after conducting 8,117 PCR tests, pushing the total number of infections in the Kingdom to 81,654.
The virus claimed two more lives, taking the death tally to 321, meanwhile 354 infected patient have fully recovered in the past 24 hours, increasing total recoveries to 78,719.
The active cases has now touched 2,605, including 21 critical cases under intensive care.
Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health said 164 people have tested positive today in Qatar, pushing the country’s tally of infections to 132, 720.
No new fatalities have been reported in the last 24 hours, keeping death toll as 232. A total of 201 patients have fully recovered, raising total recovered people in the country to 129,784.
Active cases have fallen to 2,704, out of which 338 are critical and 40 under intensive care in ICUs.
