Abu Dhabi: Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul Malik confirmed that the terrorist crimes committed by the Al Houthi militia will not go unpunished, local media reported.
The latest Houthi attack saw the militia fire a ballistic missile and an explosive-laden plane at a fuel station in a residential neighborhood in the Yemeni city of Marib, killing 17 civilians, including a girl, and wounding five others.
“The blood of these innocents will also haunt them until their bloody and destructive project is uprooted,” Abdul Malik added as he offered condolences to the Governor of Marib, Major General Sultan Al Arada, over the civilian victims who were killed, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
The official Yemeni news agency (Saba) said Dr. Abdul Malik made it clear in the call that the Al Houthi militia’s resorting, as usual, to targeting civilians with the failure of its military escalation and its Iranian-backed plan to control Marib, and the huge human and material losses it incurred, reflects the bloody approach of these criminal gangs that seek to thwart any tendency towards peace.
He called on the United Nations and the international community to take a firm position against the terrorist massacres and crimes that the Al Houthi militias continue to commit daily against civilians and the displaced, taking advantage of international leniency.
