Sana'a: A total of 14 people from one family were killed in a traffic accident in Taiz province, south of Yemen, said an official on Saturday.
"A lorry collided with a pick up killing 8 men, two women, two boys and two girls, all from one family, on Al Barah highway in the province of Taiz," said the director of traffic in Taiz, Kais Al Eryani.
Saturday's accident comes two days after 30 people including 15 women and 14 children, also from one family, were killed in a horrific traffic accident in the, Mareb province in the country's east, where the family was on its way to attend a social event with their relatives.

The governor's office of Marib province said in a statement on Friday thar only a young girl survived the accident. She remains in the hospital and there was no word on her injuries.
The pickup truck was traveling through rugged terrain late on Thursday when it overturned. Twenty-four passengers were killed on the spot, and six others died later in the hospital.
The tribesmen of Mareb and Al Jawf described the accident as a 'catastrophe' calling for providing assistance for those still alive of the stricken family of Hussain Abu Ayah, who also died in the accident.
The tribesmen also demanded that the government raise the traffic safety standards in the cars and on roads.
Last Wednesday, six people from a family - father, mother and their four children - were killed in a traffic accident in Taiz province while the family was on its way back from Saudi Arabia.
A total of 625 people were killed and 4,578 were injured in traffic accidents from the beginning of this year, according to traffic statistics.
In 2009, 3,063 people were killed and 20,000 injured in accidents which cost about 5 billion Yemeni Rials.
