Two Saudis arrested for robbing Riyadh electronics store

Abu Dhabi: Two Saudi suspects were arrested for allegedly robbing an electronics store in Riyadh, police said.

“The duo, in their 30s and 40s, had extensive criminal histories, and allegedly admitted to committing the crime using a stolen car,” Major Khaled Al Kreidis, spokesperson of the Riyadh Police said.

Tracking data and footage of the crime posted on social media helped police apprehend the suspects. A full recovery of the phones and cash was made, police said.

The duo were remanded in custody pending removing to the Public Prosecution for further questioning and trial, police said.
