Abu Dhabi: The Mecca police have arrested three Saudis, in their 30s, for tampering with a speed radar on the Tarbah–Al Kharma road, in Mecca, police said.

The trio were remanded in police custody and legal measures were taken to refer them to the public prosecution for trial, Major Mohammed Al Ghamdi, spokesperson for the Mecca Police, said.

They were charged with criminal tampering and obstruction of governmental administration, police said.
