Dubai: Snapchat has surpassed 25 million monthly active users in Saudi Arabia, with individuals spending an average of 70 minutes per day on the platform, according to Abdullah Al Hammadi, General Manager of Snapchat Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at the Saudi Media Forum, Al Hammadi highlighted Snapchat’s growing role in shaping content consumption and engagement, noting that the platform has evolved beyond social networking into a key hub for digital media, entertainment, and advertising.

Snapchat’s popularity in Saudi Arabia is particularly strong among young users, with 90 per cent of its audience aged 13 to 34, making it a prime platform for advertisers and content creators aiming to reach a highly engaged demographic.

The app has gained traction as a preferred tool for digital storytelling, with Saudi creators leveraging its interactive features to build large followings.

As video-based content consumption rises, Snpchat is increasingly recognised as a leading platform for news, entertainment, and brand engagement in Saudi Arabia.
