Abu Dhabi: A Saudi man who boasted of possessing a gun and a modified vehicle to look like a police car, was arrested in Riyadh, police said.
“The man, in his 30s, sought to attract attention by conspicuous behaviour, posted a video on social media, as he brandished a firearm, driving a modified car to look like a police vehicle with flashing lights on top of it and front and rear bumper grill guards,” major Khaled Al Kreidis, spokesperson of the Riyadh Police, said.
The man was remanded in custody pending removal to the Public Prosecution for further questioning and trial, police said.
