Abu Dhabi: Saudi Arabia ranked third in the world among the top preferred destinations for immigrants, according to data from the American Immigration Policy Institute, local media reported.
Data collected by the American Institute from 1960 to 2020 indicate that Saudi Arabia is the first and third Arab and Islamic country in the world preferred by international immigrants for stability and work.
The UAE ranked 2nd in the Arab world and 6th globally among the countries favoured by immigrants, while the US continued to rank first for the best international immigration destinations.
The report stated that immigrant workers prefer countries that are stable in terms of security, politics, economicals and socially, in addition to quality of life, high salaries, low cost of living, and ease of movement and transportation.
Here are the top 10 destinations for international immigrants in 2020, according to data from the American Immigration Policy Institute:
