Dubai: The Riyadh Police have arrested three Saudis for their involvement in a series of home burglaries in various parts of the capital using stolen vehicles, a senior police officer said.

Major Khalid Al Kreidis, assistant spokesperson for Riyadh Police, said the three-member gang was nabbed after receiving several reports about a series of house break-ins.

The suspects broke into several houses where they stole electronic devices, jewellery and cash to a value of 232,000 riyals

“The suspects stole 16 vehicles they used in their burglaries. Police managed to retrieve the stolen vehicles and valuables,” Maj Al Kreidis added.

They were referred to the public prosecution for further investigation and legal action.
