Their boat broke down off Medinah
Abu Dhabi: Six Saudi men have been rescued after their boat broke down at sea off Medinah, Saudi Arabia, police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Fahd Faraj Abdel Hamid, spokesperson for the Border Guard Command in the Medina region, said the Maritime Border Guard patrols received a report on the emergency phone about a picnic boat breaking down at sea, with six citizens on board.
“Necessary assistance was immediately provided to the men and their boat was towed to the Abbasi marina after making sure of their safety,” Lieutenant Colonel Abdel Hamid said.
The men were in good health, he added.
