Abu Dhabi: The Saudi Cabinet reaffirmed that the Kingdom is pushing for security and stability in the region, and supports political solutions in Yemen, Syria and Libya, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

This came during its virtual meeting on Tuesday, chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The Cabinet also appreciated what the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman confirmed to the World Economic Forum about the role that Saudi Arabia plays in boosting development and stability of the region, preserve the energy supply, and establish security and peace, as well as strengthen economic cooperation with partners and friends in the business community, and sharing major investment opportunities and new projects in the Kingdom in line with its Vision 2030.

The Cabinet stressed the need to reach a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, and the importance of resuming negotiations between the two sides to achieve peace.

It said Saudi Arabia strongly condemns the continuation of the terrorist Al Houthi militia in breaching the Stockholm Agreement, and continuing to take Hodeidah Governorate as a platform for hostilities and terrorist operations by launching ballistic missiles, explosive-laden drones and boat attacks, which represent a real threat to regional and international security, and undermine political efforts.
