Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has summoned an unlicensed alternative medicine practitioner for falsely claiming that ginger causes 80% of strokes. This action is part of legal measures before referring him to authorities.

Investigations confirmed he has no licence to practice medical or alternative medicine in the Kingdom.

The ministry urged the public to rely on official sources for health information and verify accuracy before sharing it.

It also reminded healthcare professionals to follow the Law of Practicing Healthcare Professions.

Additionally, the ministry called on media outlets to verify health-related information before broadcasting to prevent misinformation and public harm.
