Saudi Arabia: Gas tanker overturns in Turaif

Dubai: A gas tanker overturned on Monday on the international highway near the eastern entrance of the Saudi town of Turaif, local media reported.

No casualties were reported. Turaif is a town in the Northern Borders Province, which is close to the border with Jordan.

Saudi civil defence teams and security squads rushed to site to contain the incident.

According to local news reports, Tuarif Police have launched an investigation into the incident. The operation to control the gas emissions continues.
