Dubai: Four young Saudi men have been arrested by Al Jouf security authorities on charges of vandalism after destroying speed radars installed to monitor speed violations, local media said.

The suspects, in their 30s and 40s, were remanded in police custody as legal measures were taken to refer them to the public prosecution for trial on charges of deliberate vandalism and destruction of public property.

The police managed to identify the suspects involved in the criminal tampering and destruction of speed radars on roads in Al Jouf through the Saher speed cameras, Colonel Yazid Al Noumas, media spokesperson for the Al Jouf Police, said.
