Saudi Arabia: Driver arrested after passenger harasses pedestrian

Abu Dhabi: Saudi Traffic Police announced the arrest of a driver after a passenger in his vehicle harassed a pedestrian, police said on Twitter.

In response to a tip off, the Traffic Department said: “We thank you for your interest and eagerness, and inform you that the driver was arrested and referred to the Traffic Authority to apply the penalties prescribed by the laws.”

While the car was seized, the police did not elaborate about what happened to the offending passenger.
