Dubai: Motorists across Saudi Arabia are advised to settle their outstanding traffic fines before the April 18, 2025 deadline, to take advantage of a 50 per cent discount offered by the Saudi General Department of Traffic.

The initiative covers violations committed before April 18, 2024, allowing drivers to reduce their financial burden.

Drivers have the option to pay the full discounted amount in a single transaction or settle each violation separately. After the deadline, fines will return to their original amounts.

The authority also urged the public to follow traffic regulations, emphasizing that road safety starts with responsible driving behaviour.
