Abu Dhabi: Israel has congratulated Saudi Arabia on the occasion of its National Day,, with a message sent by the Israeli Foreign Ministry on its official Twitter account.
Writing in Arabic, Israel said: “We extend our sincere congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the king, the government and the people on the 90th National Day.
“May the day return to you with goodness and blessing in light of security, safety and prosperity, with our wishes that an atmosphere of peace, cooperation and good neighbourliness will prevail.”
Saudi Arabia celebrates its 90th National Day at a time when the region is witnessing remarkable developments with Gulf Cooperation Council states normalising relations with Israel, lead by the UAE and Bahrain.
The Kingdom adheres to its position in support of a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders.
