The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has called on countries meeting in the ongoing Vienna talks over the Iran nuclear deal to consider concerns over Tehran’s continuous enrichment of Uranium.

The council highlighted the need for the participation of GCC countries in the Vienna negotiations on Iran’s nuclear weapons programme.

The Vienna talks should focus on Iran’s nuclear armament programme and its aggressive polices that aim to destabilise the region, the GCC said in a statement.

The Vienna talks aim at reviving the Iran nuclear deal, which was abandoned by the Trump administration in 2018.
