COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports 1,877 new cases, 23 deaths

This brings total number of coronavirus infections in the country to 85,261

Dubai: Saudi Arabia reported 1,877 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 85,261, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday (May 31).

Meanwhile, the ministry reported 3,559 recoveries today, with total recoveries in the kingdom at 62,442. 

The ministry also confirmed 23 deaths, its highest single-day spike in Covid-19 deaths, taking the toll to 503.
