COVID-19: Saudi Arabia announces 2,238 new coronavirus cases, 34 deaths

Dubai: Saudi Arabia has reported 2,238 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infected people in the Kingdom to 260,394.

Thirty- four people have died due to complications caused by COVID-19, pushing the mortality tally to 2,635, the Ministry of Health said during its press conference on Thursday.

The total number of recovered people in Saudi Arabia rose to 213,490 after 3,092 people had fully recovered from the virus.

There are 44,269 active cases, including 2,170 critically ill patients under intensive care.
