Dubai: Saudi Arabia on Tuesday reported 223 new COVID-19 cases and four more deaths, pushing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 366,807 and fatality tally to 6,359.

According to the latest update by the Ministry of Health, the Kingdom’s total recoveries have climbed to 358,340 as 203 patients have fully recovered in the last 24 hours, with the recovery rate rising to 97.69 per cent.

The active cases have now touched 2,108, out of which 338 are critical cases under intensive care.

Kuwait

A further 505 people have tested positive for coronavirus, while three people died of the infection in Kuwait in the last 24 hours.

In its daily report, the Ministry of Health said the total number of infections have now gone up to 162,282, and total fatalities to 957.

The active cases have reached 6,022, including 49 that are still under intensive care.

Bahrain

The Ministry of Health confirmed the detection of 413 new COVID-19 cases in Bahrain over the last 24 hours, bringing the total confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 99,869.

The virus claimed two more lives, taking fatality tally to 369, the Ministry of Health said in its latest update. The new cases have been detected among 202 expatriate workers, 204 new cases are contacts of active cases, and seven are travel related.

There have been 229 fresh recoveries, pushing total recoveries to 96,761. The active cases have now touched 3,100, including 3,082 that are stable, while 18 are critical cases under intensive care.

Oman

A further 154 COVID-19 cases and two deaths were reported in the Sultanate in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said in its latest update.

This brings the total infections in the Sultanate to 133,407 and death toll to 1,524. The total number of recoveries has gone up to 126,409 after 75 fresh recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to precautionary measures and social distancing protocols issued by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling COVID-19.
